Gragnano, Penisola Sorrentina D.O.P

Casa Rovigatti’s Gragnano wine, is produced under the Penisola Sorrentina of coastal Campania, southwest Italy, specifically from grapes grown in the commune of Gragnano. Produced in limited quantities, the content of this bottle offers the true Gragnano wine. It has a fresh and lively flavor, bright foam, a beautiful rich deep ruby color almost purple-red, with scents of violets and subtle fruity background. The wine is made in stainless steel tanks and fermented at a controlled temperature on selected yeasts. It undergoes a secondary fermentation in autoclaves in order to create its characteristic foam.

Served chilled, Gragnano has a touch of sweetness, a smoky finish, and a slight effervescence that cuts the fattiness of cheese and oil. It is a very versatile wine which pairs very well with cheese, meat dishes & of course Neapolitan pizza.
